MeeGo is a social networking app connecting people to places: users discover venues, event spaces, restaurants, hotels, conference facilities and events, and book instantly. By accessing or using MeeGo you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. Introduction
Welcome to MeeGo.
MeeGo is owned and operated by FAMA Technologies Company Limited ("we", "our", or "us").
MeeGo is a social networking app connecting people to places. Users discover venues, event spaces, restaurants, hotels, conference facilities, events and book instantly. MeeGo facilitates reservations but is not the provider of the hospitality or tourism services offered by venues.
By accessing or using MeeGo you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" means the MeeGo website, mobile application, and related services.
- "User" means any individual accessing or using the Platform.
- "Vendor" means a venue owner, event organizer, business, or service provider listing on the Platform.
- "Booking" means any reservation, inquiry, rental arrangement, or agreement made between a User and a Vendor.
3. Platform role
MeeGo operates solely as a discovery and listing platform.
MeeGo:
- Provides venue and event discovery services;
- Enables Users and Vendors to connect;
- Displays venue and event information supplied by Vendors;
- Facilitates reservations and bookings.
MeeGo does not:
- Own, operate, manage, or control listed venues;
- Participate in negotiations between Users and Vendors;
- Guarantee the availability of venues;
- Guarantee pricing or service quality;
- Act as an agent for Vendors;
- Become a party to agreements between Users and Vendors.
Any agreement entered into between a User and a Vendor is solely between those parties.
4. User accounts
Users may create accounts to save venues, submit inquiries, manage bookings, and access additional Platform features.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
5. Vendor accounts
Vendors may create accounts to:
- List venues;
- Manage venue information;
- Receive inquiries;
- Promote their businesses;
- Access premium subscription features.
Vendors are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and up to date.
6. Reservations
6.1. MeeGo allows users to submit reservation requests.
6.2. A reservation becomes effective once confirmed by the venue.
6.3. Venue policies regarding arrival times, cancellations, deposits or special requests apply.
7. Subscriptions
MeeGo currently generates revenue through Vendor subscriptions.
Subscription plans may include:
- Featured listings;
- Recommended placements;
- Priority visibility;
- Enhanced profile features;
- Marketing opportunities;
- Business analytics;
- CRM software.
Subscription fees are payable in advance and are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
MeeGo reserves the right to modify subscription plans and pricing.
8. Bookings and payments
MeeGo currently facilitates venue discovery and booking inquiries only.
Users and Vendors are responsible for negotiating:
- Venue pricing;
- Deposits;
- Payment schedules;
- Cancellation terms;
- Refund arrangements;
- Service expectations.
Unless otherwise indicated:
- Reservations are free to make;
- Payments are made directly to the venue;
- MeeGo does not collect, process, hold, or distribute booking payments at this time.
9. Future payment features
MeeGo may introduce future features including:
- Online booking payments;
- Event ticketing;
- Booking deposits;
- Commission-based transactions;
- Live streams of events;
- Mini programs and applications;
- Third party app integrations.
Additional terms may apply when such features become available.
10. Vendor responsibilities
Vendors agree to:
- Maintain accurate listings;
- Respond to inquiries professionally;
- Comply with applicable laws;
- Honor confirmed bookings;
- Maintain necessary permits and licenses.
Vendors are solely responsible for the services they provide.
11. Prohibited activities
Users and Vendors shall not:
- Provide false information;
- Post misleading listings;
- Upload unlawful content;
- Interfere with Platform operations;
- Attempt unauthorized access;
- Violate intellectual property rights;
- Use the Platform for fraudulent purposes.
12. Reviews and content
Users may submit reviews, ratings, feedback and other content.
You grant MeeGo a non-exclusive license to display such content.
MeeGo reserves the right to remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.
13. Intellectual property
The MeeGo Platform, software, branding, logos, designs, content, and technology are owned by FAMA Technologies Company Limited.
No rights are granted except as expressly permitted.
14. Third party services
MeeGo may link to third-party services including:
- Maps;
- Payment providers;
- Social media.
MeeGo is not responsible for third-party services.
15. Disclaimers
MeeGo provides the Platform "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee:
- Venue availability;
- Venue quality;
- Accuracy of Vendor information;
- User satisfaction;
- Successful bookings.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeeGo shall not be liable for:
- Venue disputes;
- Food quality;
- Event cancellations;
- Booking cancellations;
- Property damage;
- Personal injury;
- Lost profits;
- Indirect or consequential losses.
17. Suspension and termination
MeeGo may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or any conduct that may harm the Platform.
18. Changes to these terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
19. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
